AIRCRAFT RENTAL FOR NEW STUDENT PILOTS
You can rent an aircraft for your first lessons.
You don’t need previous flying experience to begin lessons with an independent instructor. Bolt provides the rental aircraft; your independent CFI provides the flight training. Solo rental requires the applicable qualifications and approvals.
Start with a conversation
Tell us your certificates, experience, preferred aircraft and flying goals. Customer-facing aircraft rental operations transition to Bolt Aviation LLC effective November 1, 2026. Before your first Bolt rental, complete the required checkout and sign a new rental agreement with Bolt Aviation LLC.
What to confirm before reserving
- Aircraft eligibility and checkout requirements for your experience.
- Required documents, endorsements, currency, and any renter insurance requirements.
- Approved rates, fuel arrangements, billing, cancellation and overnight policies.
- Aircraft availability and your independent CFI’s availability, when instruction is needed.
